Shigeru Nakahara is a Japanese voice actor born on January 22, 1961, in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. He began his career in 1982, making his debut as Jun Rando in the anime series Acrobunch. To prepare for his profession, he studied at the Tokyo Announce Gakuin Performing Arts College after withdrawing from Tokai University.

Nakahara is known for a voice acting style that often portrays young, handsome men with a natural and refreshing quality. He is also recognized for his ability to perform characters with complex emotions, such as the cross-dressing Levin in Tekkaman Blade. His vocal quality for young male roles has been noted as similar to that of fellow voice actor Nobuo Tobita, a point they both acknowledge.

Throughout his career, Nakahara has been affiliated with several talent agencies, including Arts Vision, 81 Produce, and Sigma Seven, before joining Vi-Vo in 2008. He has also been associated with the agency Local Dream.
