OVA
Description
Kyoko Aoi owns and manages the Aoi ZIP Formula racing team. She originally recruited Naoki Shinjyo for Aoi Formula based on his European F3 success. Following Shinjyo's performance slump against rivals like Hayato Kazami and Karl von Randoll, she established Aoi ZIP Formula as a separate team in 2015, recruiting Bleed Kaga instead. Her leadership faced further challenges when Nagumo took control of Aoi ZIP Formula before 2020 and dismissed Shinjyo. By 2022, Aoi Motors executives issued an ultimatum: the team would disband unless Kaga won the championship with their outdated Ex-Superion Z/A-10 car. Kyoshiro Nagumo intervened, providing Kaga with the dangerous bio-computer-equipped Ogre AN-21 to boost competitiveness.
Kyoko strongly opposed Kaga using the Ogre due to its lethal test history. After Kaga required medical treatment following Zero Zone exertion in the Ogre, she attempted to destroy the vehicle before the final race to protect him. Kaga stopped her intervention and persuaded her to let him compete; he ultimately won the championship. Following this victory and Kaga's immediate retirement from Cyber Formula, Kyoko resigned from her ownership position at Aoi ZIP Formula. Her final depicted action shows her watching Kaga's departure plane disheartened, hinting at personal investment in their professional relationship.
