Description
Naotora Takeda is the captain of the Takeda Bushi and one of the Five Grand Generals of Hi no Moto. He is among the first of the Five Grand Generals to meet Musashi and Kojiro early in their journey at Tatsuyama Mine. Physically, Naotora is a tall and muscular man with short, spiky blue hair and golden eyes. A scar runs across his left cheek, and he bears other marks from constant fighting. He wears light blue traditional samurai armor with a white cape, a style befitting his rank.

In terms of personality, Naotora is highly charismatic and honorable, capable of rallying people to his cause through his genuine care for the people of Hi no Moto. He also possesses a mischievous side, often taking any chance to play small jokes on Musashi. His actions are driven by a strong sense of duty and a deep-seated vendetta against the Obsidian Brotherhood. Ten years prior to the main events, his clan suffered a devastating massacre at the hands of the Obsidian Brotherhood, an event for which he holds particular resentment toward Shiro, who was present during that tragedy.

Within the story, Naotora serves as a supporting figure and mentor-like ally to the main protagonists. He provides guidance and tactical support while pursuing his own grudge against the demons that wronged his clan. His key relationships include his bond with the other Five Grand Generals and his dynamic with Musashi, whom he both teases and pushes to become stronger. Over the course of the narrative, Naotora demonstrates development as he learns to balance his personal desire for revenge with the greater battle for Hi no Moto.

As a warrior, Naotora is a highly skilled swordsman and an experienced battlefield commander. He wears many scars from years of combat against powerful demonic enemies, underscoring his proficiency and resilience in battle. His fighting style, combined with his tactical acumen, makes him a formidable presence among the bushi forces.
