Aroma is a parrot-like fairy from the Hope Kingdom, distinguished by purple feathers accented with cream on his face and stomach, plus two pink hearts on his cheeks. He wears a red bow secured by a gold crown-shaped brooch and a white frill around his neck, and his speech often ends with "~roma."

He is Pafu's older brother, consistently showing her affection and care, sometimes indulging her despite his responsible nature. Aroma possesses a cheerful and reliable personality, frequently guiding and offering constructive criticism to human protagonists to help them become true princesses, a dedication that can manifest as nagging.

His background involves serving Prince Kanata. When the kingdom was invaded by Dys Dark, intent on spreading despair by imprisoning dreams, Kanata entrusted Aroma and Pafu with the Princess Perfumes. Their mission was to find the three legendary Princess Pretty Cure warriors to oppose Dys Dark.

Aroma first meets Haruno Haruka after she flees into a forest. Mistaken for an ordinary parrot, he clarifies his fairy identity alongside Pafu. During an attack by Close that creates a Zetsuborg, Aroma presents Haruka with a treasure chest containing a Princess Perfume, recognizing her Dress Up Key as the activator, leading to her transformation into Cure Flora.

Aroma strives to become a full-fledged butler. Guided by Miss Shamour, he gains the temporary ability to assume a human form—a young man in a butler outfit retaining his bow tie and cheek hearts—to take a butler qualification test. His initial overly rigorous schedule for Haruka misses understanding her needs. After failing and receiving guidance from the human butler Oikawa, he learns to prioritize empathy. This growth is tested when Lock exploits Oikawa's dream to create a Zetsuborg; Aroma assists by alerting other Cures for backup.

A pivotal moment occurs when Towa Akagi, the lost princess of Hope Kingdom, falls ill. While caring for her, Aroma and Pafu confront a cicada-themed Zetsuborg summoned by Shut. Their protective resolve toward Towa unlocks a new ability: transforming into matured fairy forms. In this state, Aroma becomes a full butler, gaining the power to summon the Music Princess Palace for the Cures' group attacks and participating directly in battles against Dys Dark.

Following Dyspear's defeat, Aroma returns to the Hope Kingdom with Towa, Kanata, and Pafu, resuming his duties as Kanata's butler during the kingdom's restoration.

His abilities evolve: Miss Shamour grants temporary human transformation, while later, his devotion to Towa unlocks a permanent butler form in his fairy state, enabling combat support via the Music Princess Palace.

A conceptual sketch by the character designer exists for a Lawson convenience store collaboration, though neither Aroma nor Pafu were ultimately included.
