Shoji Sato, a second-year student at Totsuki Culinary Institute, lives in the Polaris Dormitory. He and classmate Daigo Aoki jointly fuel the dormitory's energy and noise. Despite frequent arguments and occasional physical clashes, Shoji remains inseparable from Aoki, their bond defined by combative camaraderie. Shoji often teases dorm resident Zenji Marui and commandeers Marui's room for parties alongside Aoki. Though his exterior appears rough, Shoji exhibits fierce loyalty to dorm mates, supporting them in competitions and shielding them from rival students. Culinary-wise, Shoji lacks a specialty but maintains sufficient skill to satisfy Totsuki's demanding standards, securing his place as a capable yet non-elite contender in the institute's cutthroat arena.
