Description
Gakuto Uzuki is one of the nine central characters in the short anime project I.ADORE. His family name, Uzuki, is sometimes written with the characters for "snow moon" or "April," while his given name, Gakuto, is composed of characters meaning "learning" and "big dipper" or "studying". He is part of a group of nine young men who share a deep desire to change their circumstances and are drawn together by a mysterious dream that guides them to an alternate version of Japan.
In this world, the central government of Japan has been abolished, leading to a divided nation of nine separate regions. In the absence of traditional political leaders, the public has turned to idols who possess a special ability known as the Sixth Sense. These idol-performers express political ideologies through song and dance, effectively ruling their territories and creating an Idol Warring States era where entertainment and governance have merged. Gakuto, like his eight counterparts, must navigate this politically charged landscape, honing his innate Sixth Sense abilities while striving to carve out his own destiny on the path to becoming an idol in a version of Japan that is not his own.
