Purineko, also spelled PriNeko and written in Japanese as プリねこ, is a supporting character in the anime Onegai AiPri. She is a cat-themed mascot figure whose name combines the Pri of AiPri with neko, the Japanese word for cat.

Her main place of activity is AiPri Castle, a large castle located in the virtual world where AiPri idols carry out their performances. Purineko serves as the castle's receptionist, managing the reception desk and welcoming the AiPri idols who come to the castle. Alongside the character Meganee, she supports the idols in their activities and helps look after them within the AiPri world.

Within the story, her role is that of a supporting presence rather than a performing idol. She contributes to the series by providing assistance to the main characters and other idols, working together with Meganee as the pair who support the AiPris at the castle. Her function is centered on hospitality and caregiving within the AiPri setting, and her duties as receptionist and assistant are her most defining traits.
