Fūka Izumi is a Japanese voice actress born on January 11 in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. She has been active in the entertainment industry since 2018.
Izumi developed an interest in anime during her elementary school years. Her inspiration to pursue a career as a voice actor came from watching the anime series Gintama, as she was a fan of Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine and the anime adaptations of its manga series. She also cites Miyu Irino's performance in the anime Haikyu!! as a key inspiration. Although she initially doubted the possibility of becoming a voice actor, her resolve strengthened during junior high school. While in high school, she was involved with the swimming club, describing her participation as being a ghost club member because she was not an official member but helped manage the team.
She trained at the Japan Narration Actor Institute before starting her career. Her debut was with the talent agency VIMS. In 2022, she left VIMS on August 31 and, after a brief freelance period, joined her current agency, Amuse Inc., on October 5 of the same year.
Her early anime roles included parts in series such as Z/X: Code Reunion and The Dangers in My Heart, as well as in games like Magia Record and Kemono Friends 3. She was also a member of the voice acting units SHiFT for the Z/X project and Hanamaru Animal for Kemono Friends.
The year 2024 marked a significant period in her career with several main roles. She voiced Utena Hiiragi, also known as Magia Baiser, in the series Gushing over Magical Girls. She was also cast as the protagonist Rin Rindō in Highspeed Etoile. In a role that has gained considerable attention, she plays the laid-back and rice-loving character Meme Bashame in the anime My Deer Friend Nokotan. That same year, she provided the voice for Lucia Fano in Dahlia in Bloom and Chaimu Tamura in Himitsu no AiPri. She also performed theme songs for My Deer Friend Nokotan.
