Description
Kiritani is a supporting character in Ingoku Danchi: Deviant's Apartment Complex, where she serves as a formidable antagonist and a major obstacle for the protagonist. She is the president of the Vanishing Exclusion Ladies' Association, an organization of female residents within the apartment complex, and holds the title of a Danger-Rank A resident, marking her as a significant threat to the building's order. She is also known by the notorious alias of the Conditioning Witch.

Kiritani possesses a striking appearance, characterized by her black, straight hair and a beautiful, dignified look that can initially present a calm and kind facade. However, this exterior conceals her true personality: a sadistic, queen-type dominant figure with an overwhelming desire to control others. She is cold-blooded and cruel, taking pleasure in subjugating and bullying those around her, a trait that defines her interactions with other residents. Despite her cruelty, she is not mindlessly chaotic; she adheres to her own personal rules and boundaries, showing a reluctance to cross certain lines, such as murder, for which she maintains a clear aversion.

Her primary motivation is to exert control over the apartment complex. To this end, she directs the members of her women's association to carry out systematic bullying, conditioning, and harassment campaigns against targeted residents. The ultimate goal of these actions is to forcibly expel these individuals from the complex. In pursuit of this objective, she represents one of the most significant threats to the superintendent, Yoshida, who is trying to maintain peace and order within the building.

Kiritani has several key relationships that define her role in the story. She has a close partnership with another dangerous resident, Numajiri, with whom she shares a sadistic nature and a history that extends back to their school days. Together, they form a dominant and dangerous duo within the complex. She also oversees a clique of subordinate women who are loyal to her and carry out her orders, reflecting her hierarchical and controlling nature. Her relationship with Yoshida is purely adversarial, as she views him as an obstacle to her power.

Throughout the narrative, Kiritani's character shows minimal signs of rehabilitation, remaining a consistently antagonistic force. However, certain events reveal rare glimpses of a more complex personality. In one instance, when a fellow association member loses control and threatens to destroy the entire complex with a bomb, Kiritani displays the cold resolve to kill that person to save the many, a decision that visibly unnerves her and suggests a hidden layer of fear and relief at not having to become a murderer. Another moment shows her becoming flustered and annoyed in a trivial manner when she suffers a minor setback, adding a subtle humanizing element to her otherwise vicious demeanor.

In terms of abilities, Kiritani is not merely a social manipulator but also possesses physical means of intimidation. She is known to carry a shikomi katana, a type of Japanese sword, which enhances her threatening presence and underscores her willingness to use force. Her true power, however, lies in her leadership and her sadistic cunning, allowing her to orchestrate psychological and social warfare against her targets with devastating effectiveness.
