Description
Ryūji Maesaka, also known as Ryuji, is a 21-year-old participant in Darwin's Game who evolves into a core member of the Sunset Ravens clan. His initial motivation for joining the game alongside his younger brother—financial gain—transforms into a driving quest for vengeance after witnessing Wang of the Eighth clan murder his brother during a game event. This trauma ignites his intense hatred toward the Eighth clan and its leader, One.
Physically, he possesses light brown or blonde hair, light skin, and black eyes. In combat, he typically dons a skull mask (later replaced by a gas mask) and black bulletproof gear, including body armor and a trench coat. Outside of battle, his attire is more casual.
Personality-wise, Ryūji demonstrates strong loyalty to allies and a firm sense of justice, consistently repaying favors.
