Description
Kneeland LeSean is a First Lieutenant and a member of the Zeon mobile suit unit known as the Red Wolf Squadron, serving on the European front during the closing months of the One Year War. He earned his rank through his performance in the Battle of Loum, where he helped destroy three Earth Federation fleets. After that, he was reassigned to Earth and took part in the recapture of the Cluj-Napoca base in Romania.
LeSean’s personality is defined by cynicism, a quick temper, and a degree of arrogance that partly comes from his youth and rapid promotion. He can be sarcastic and impulsive, and his emotions sometimes lead him into reckless situations. In spite of these traits, he is steadfastly loyal to the military and deeply devoted to the soldiers he fights alongside. His comrades trust him implicitly, and his commanding officer, Captain Iria Solari, regards him as a protégé. Fear occasionally affects his judgment in high‑pressure moments, yet his bravery and loyalty remain constant.
In the story, LeSean is a key member of the Red Wolf Squadron during the series of battles against the Earth Federation’s new Gundam EX. After the Gundam EX wipes out most of the squadron, LeSean and Solari survive and continue to fight alongside a group of other survivors. He participates in a defense of a recycling center, where he destroys a Federation GM despite opposition from Major Rolph Ronet. When Major General Yuri Kellerne intervenes and assigns the group a mission to steal Federation mobile suits, the Gundam EX reappears. In the final clash, LeSean covers Solari’s retreat, engages the Gundam EX, and manages to damage it, but he is killed in the effort.
