Description
Liliana Grandria is the Deputy Commander of the Kingdom of Altar’s Royal Guard, a tall young woman with blonde hair and purple eyes. She is the eldest child of Langley Grandria, the former head of the Royal Guard known as the Celestial Knight. From a young age, Liliana was raised to become a knight and rigorously trained in her father’s unique style of swordsmanship. She has been friends with Princess Altimia and Integra since childhood.
Liliana takes her duties seriously and strives to perform them with absolute honor and flawlessness. Despite her stern and responsible exterior, she is noted to be a natural airhead, often causing her to be a source of accidental comedy. Her only remaining family member is her younger sister, Milianne, whom she loves deeply and would do anything to protect. This strong sense of family motivates much of her personal actions.
Her devotion to the kingdom of Altar and its ideals of justice is unwavering. She believes in upholding the law and protecting the innocent, and she is willing to risk her life for those principles. However, she is also aware of the kingdom’s imperfections and corruption, which she works to address from within her position. Her sense of duty often puts her in the role of a hardworking cleanup crew for the various troubles caused by other characters, including the protagonist Ray Starling.
Liliana first meets Ray shortly after his tutorial and forms an alliance with him, aiding him in his journey through the world of Infinite Dendrogram. She is a loyal friend and ally, showing great protectiveness toward those she trusts. She is also highly regarded among the Masters (players) who consider her an idol; a fan club clan named the Liliana FC has even been formed in her honor.
In terms of abilities, Liliana is a skilled fighter and holds the advanced job of Holy Knight (Paladin). She once reset all her other jobs to master the skill Sacred Silver Light (Seibetsu no Ginko), a testament to her dedication. She is also capable of using the ultimate skill Grand Cross, which she mastered at a relatively early level. Beyond combat, she is a talented musician, known for her beautiful singing voice and ability to play the piano.
