In daily life, his silent, cold demeanor and obsession with gaming earn him the nickname "Otamegane." He has brown hair and eyes, wears glasses, sports unruly bed hair, and is rarely seen without his handheld PFP gaming device. His typical outfits include his seasonal school uniform or a long-sleeved shirt with a white collar and pants. A black guillotine collar—purple in the anime—marks his contract with Hell.
