As one of the Pentagrams—personifications of grimoires—she attends Ashlam, a university town that shifts through time and space. Ashlam remains shielded from external dangers like the Knights of Canterbury Abbey and bugs, with the Pentagrams serving as central figures in its operations.

Little Alberta shares a sisterly bond with Grand Albert, recognized as the undefeated hero of Ashram. Her identity originates from the 18th-century French grimoire "Le Petit Albert" (full title: "Secrets merveilleux de la magie naturelle et cabalistique du petit Albert"), a text encompassing natural and cabalistic magic. This grimoire details diverse subjects, including crafting a "hand of glory," cooking recipes, soap-making, sexual magic, and agricultural efficiency.

In her role as a Pentagram, she actively participates in safeguarding Ashlam and engaging in its functions.
