TV-Series
Description
Tenbo safeguards wildlife near Mount Kilimanjaro as an assistant to a Kenyan protection officer. A Camba tribesman and former Royal Africa Rifles soldier, his bravery and deep animal knowledge are essential, particularly when nursing an injured bushbaby named Murphy back to health by identifying the specific milk it needed to survive.

He shares a strong bond with the Rhodes family, especially daughter Jackie. When Jackie disembarks a ship in Mombasa to retrieve lost export papers for Murphy and is accidentally left behind, Tenbo finds her stranded and agrees to help. Authorities and media mistakenly accuse him of kidnapping Jackie, launching a widespread manhunt, while poachers pursue him for investigating their illegal exports.

Navigating the savannah, Tenbo protects Jackie, dodging poachers, wildlife, and law enforcement. His skills in navigation, wilderness survival, and understanding animal patterns guide their progress. His loyalty to the Rhodes family drives his commitment to Jackie's safety and Murphy's eventual return to the wild despite the kidnapping accusations.

Calm and proficient on the harmonica, Tenbo cannot swim. His relationship with Jackie reflects mutual respect and intergenerational trust as they depend on each other during their arduous trek. Their journey culminates in clearing his name from the kidnapping charges and confronting the poaching operations threatening the sanctuary.
