Description
Misora Kasuga is student number nine in Class 2-A and later 3-A at Mahora Academy. She is a hyperactive tomboy who is an active member of the track and field club, where she frequently rivals Asuna Kagurazaka in sprint races. She always wears a crucifix and is often seen in a nun's habit because she performs chores at a local church. Her birthday is April 4, and she has short gray hair and gray eyes.

In terms of personality, Misora is mischievous and somewhat careless. She has a playful, chaotic side that contrasts with the calm demeanor she sometimes adopts when pretending to be a nun. She enjoys playing pranks, such as using magic to trick her classmates, and she giggles while taking their confessions at church. She actively tries to keep her magical abilities a secret, and when confronted by classmates, she will deny that she is the Misora they know.

As a secret mage, her motivations revolve around maintaining her cover and using her powers discreetly to help others when needed. She does not seek the spotlight and prefers to operate quietly within the church or during school events.

In the story, Misora begins as a background character with little direct involvement. Later, it is revealed that she can use magic, making her one of the many students in the class who secretly possess magical abilities. She uses her abilities to assist in various situations, though she often relies on her artifact rather than direct combat. She forms a pactio with Negi Springfield, which grants her a magical artifact.

Her key relationships include her friendly rivalry with Asuna in track, her role as a student of Negi, and her connection to the church that serves as her cover. She interacts with other classmates but does not have a deeply developed personal arc.

Misora's notable abilities include her proficiency in simple illusion magic, which she uses for pranks and disguise. Her artifact, a pair of super jet shoes, provides her with exceptional speed and allows her to run away quickly, though it has no combat applications. Her natural athleticism from the track club also contributes to her physical swiftness. Over the course of the series, she grows more comfortable using her magic openly among the group, but she never becomes a central combatant.
