Kanon Kanase, a central figure throughout the Strike the Blood series, is the adoptive daughter of Kensei Kanase, formerly a court sorcerous engineer for the Aldegyr Kingdom. Her biological origins trace back to the grandfather of La Folia Rihavein, making her the illegitimate half-sister of Polifonia Rihavein and aunt to La Folia Rihavein.
