Description
The protagonist, a foul-mouthed and violent teenage boy, has been cursed with the delicate, feminine appearance of a pop idol. His pretty face constantly leads to teasing, which in turn provokes his hair-trigger temper and results in his expulsion from every boys high school in the region. His father, a burly and unconventional biker, hits upon a bizarre solution to their shared problem: dress the boy in a girls uniform and enroll him in an all-girls high school. The father hopes this disguise will give his son a chance at an education, while secretly struggling with his own conflicted feelings about his gender-confused child.

The story takes place in a live-action Japanese comedy from 2006, based on the manga by Go Nagai, and directed by Noboru Iguchi. The central character, now posing as a student named Sukeban, quickly discovers that this girls school is not a haven of traditional femininity but a chaotic battleground of strange and aggressive cliques. Within a day of arriving, he is forced to navigate a hierarchy of bizarre school gangs, including the Pantyhose League, the No-Bra League, and the most extreme of all, the Full Strip League. He also finds himself enrolled in humiliation classes, adding to the absurdity of his situation.

Throughout the film, Sukeban must hide his true identity while using his natural fighting prowess to survive the constant challenges from these rival factions. A notable narrative arc involves his attempts to form a friendship or romance with a sweet-natured classmate, Otoko Dan, which is complicated by his secret and her own confused attraction to his masculine energy, which she mistakes for lesbian feelings. Simultaneously, his father, who works at the school, begins to develop an inappropriate and incestuous obsession with his own son in disguise, leading to scenes of dark, comedic tension at their home. The plot escalates as the various school gangs and other challengers, including a girl with bio-mechanical machine guns concealed in her chest, all converge on Sukeban, leading to over-the-top fight sequences filled with slapstick violence and cartoonish gore. The narrative embraces its cheap, sleazy, and self-parodying tone, creating a roller-coaster of outrageous situations that constantly top themselves in absurdity.
