Toushun was born with a spirit's heart inside his body. This overwhelming power is too strong for his mortal frame to contain, shortening his lifespan. Already steps away from death's door, he heads into the mountains to return the heart to its rightful owner. Once there, he meets a beautiful spirit named Choufuu, who reveals that centuries ago, Toushun's ancestor was the one who stole his heart. To help make amends for his family's transgression, Toushun agrees to enter into Choufuu's service. The story follows their growing connection, particularly on the night of the full moon when a sweet scent lures Toushun to the most enticing scene.
