Garrod joins the Freeden crew, forming a bond with Tiffa and Jamil while navigating the dangers of the wasteland. The group’s mission evolves from scavenging to protecting Tiffa, as her Newtype abilities make her a target for various factions, including the New United Nations Earth (NUNE), a militaristic organization seeking to restore order through force. NUNE aims to capture Tiffa to exploit her powers for their own agenda, believing Newtypes to be the key to humanity’s future.
