Jose Sandoval, the wealthy heir to a vast fortune, is a target for relentless bullies and thugs who live in his dangerous hometown of Balenjuato. Desperate for protection, he hires a fierce, no-nonsense bodyguard named Yoko-chan. While Yoko-chan possesses incredible martial arts skills capable of dispatching any threat in seconds, her services come at an extremely high price. Despite his riches, Jose can only afford to hire her for three minutes each day.

The series follows the daily, fast-paced struggles of Jose trying to survive with only this tiny window of elite protection. The comedy and action are structured around this strict time limit, with Yoko-chan performing her duties with extreme efficiency, often neutralizing enemies in a blur of motion. However, when her three minutes are up, she immediately goes off the clock, leaving Jose to fend for himself in whatever precarious situation remains. The thugs and kidnappers, aware of this limitation, constantly devise new schemes to outlast the timer or strike when Yoko-chan is not on duty.

Beyond the initial premise of survival, the narrative evolves to explore the relationship between Jose and Yoko-chan. After numerous rescues, Jose becomes infatuated with his bodyguard and wishes to spend time with her that does not involve fighting. This leads to new comedic challenges where he must strategize how to use his precious three-minute contract for non-combat scenarios, such as trying to have a date or a conversation, while still fending off the threats that constantly surround him. The story thus develops from a pure action gag manga into a more wholesome, character-driven comedy about the unusual bond between a spoiled heir and his ultra-capable, strictly-by-the-clock protector.
