When a manga artist named Morita-chan, lamenting her uneventful days, goes into the mountains and jokingly wishes for a spaceship to crash nearby, she is immediately crushed to death by an actual alien vessel. She is resurrected by two alien sisters, Yulin and Pu-chan, who mistakenly identify her as an ant from Earth. They decide to make her the subject of Pu-chans observational picture diary. When their spaceship breaks down, the stranded aliens become lodgers in Morita-chans home, forcing the human artist into an absurd cohabitation with beings who have no understanding of human society. Written by Rin Ryoukawa, known for Asobi Asobase, the story is an absurdist science fiction comedy. The central narrative tension revolves around Morita-chans desperate struggle to protect her own life and remain human while the alien sisters pursue their own incomprehensible goals, including Pu-chans aim to graduate from kindergarten.
