A post-war Taiwan lies in ruins, its landscape scarred by conflict. Within this devastated island nation, a dangerous substance known as the Secret Medicine has become widespread. This drug possesses the terrifying ability to transform a human being into a living weapon, though it comes with severe and debilitating side effects. The only individuals immune to these drawbacks are four powerful leaders, each ruling a territory and known collectively as the Four Gods. The story centers on Lei, a young boy who lost his parents at an early age. He now lives under the protection of one of these leaders, Qing, the Four God who controls the eastern region. Lei's deepest wish is to restore peace to this broken land. The fragile daily existence is shattered by a single phone call from the western territory. A seemingly routine dispute quickly escalates, pulling Lei and Qing into a dark conspiracy.
