Description
Harol, the grandson of the legendary hero who once defeated the Demon King, lives as a simple handyman in a small, peaceful village. He has dutifully followed his grandfathers advice to live as a compassionate person who selflessly serves others. This quiet life is shattered when a Divine Book is discovered, containing a prophecy that the world is on the brink of destruction. The only way to avert this catastrophe is for Harol to marry Yonayona, the Demon Kings daughter, and complete a series of tasks known as the Newlywed Quest.
The quest requires the unlikely couple to experience all the things a normal married couple would do, forcing them into an intimate and often comedic domestic life. Harol is initially wary and bewildered by the sudden marriage to the daughter of his grandfathers sworn enemy. To his surprise, Yonayona is sweet, gentle, and an expert at household chores, diligently cooking, cleaning, and even pampering him when he is tired. However, this wholesome exterior hides a secret and much more mischievous agenda. Yonayona is deeply attracted to the diligent hero and is determined to seduce him, often revealing a lewd and persistent side as she tries to coax him into bed.
The story unfolds as a romantic comedy set in a fantasy world where the threat of destruction serves as the backdrop for an awkward newlywed relationship. Key narrative arcs follow Harol and Yonayona as they perform various couple-oriented tasks to progress through their quest. As they live together, Harol finds himself growing increasingly attracted to Yonayona's dual nature, while she continues her relentless and playful efforts to win him over completely. The narrative balances moments of tender domestic bliss with Yonayonas overt advances, creating a dynamic where the hero must navigate both the fate of the world and the amorous intentions of his demon bride.
