With only her backpack, she wanders through this new reality until she discovers a strange book among her belongings that was not there before. This book grants her a remarkable ability: by gathering the necessary ingredients and chanting the word create, she can produce various potions.

Relying on these crafted potions as her means of survival, Kaede navigates the challenges of the fantastical world while clinging to the hope of one day finding a way back to Japan. Her journey begins with basic survival securing food and lodging by selling the potions she creates. As she gains confidence, she opens a stall in the city to sell her potions, encouraged by a local pharmacist.

Kaede's activities attract attention, particularly from a group of dragon hunters who seek out the creator of her remarkable potions. Among them is Azul, a slightly unsociable elf with a special constitution who becomes a key figure in her story. After her achievements in slaying a dragon earn her recognition, Kaede travels to the royal capital with Azul and the other hunters, where the group leader helps her purchase a house on the outskirts. Her new home comes with an unexpected resident, a fairy named Nina, with whom Kaede quickly befriends.

The story develops further when Kaede is attacked by robbers targeting her earnings, leading her to hire a werewolf slave named Karudeno as a bodyguard. Together, they venture into the forest to gather ingredients for more powerful potions, encountering other travelers and eventually seeking out a legendary fairy fountain.
