Description
When Hagihara Rito was seven years old, he snuck out of his house at night with his cousin, Ichijo Kei, and witnessed a fox wedding. The fox groom fell in love with Kei, and as a result, Rito became betrothed to the fox. From that night onward, Rito also gained the ability to see supernatural phenomena. The story follows the broken engagement between a boy who finds himself engaged to a fox and a boy who wishes to cure his newfound ability to see spirits and otherworldly beings. Key figures include the fox groom, who is the supernatural suitor, alongside Rito and Kei, whose childhood encounter sets the entire plot in motion. The narrative centers on Rito's daily life now that he can see hidden creatures and the complicated, unwanted bond with his fox fiancé, exploring the tension between breaking a supernatural pact and escaping a world he never asked to see.
