College student Isogi Yuki is obsessed with the paranormal, always searching for proof of the supernatural. Her investigation leads her to follow a mysterious new transfer student at her university, which unexpectedly traps her in the middle of a magical battle. She is rescued by a strange, super-powered man in a lab coat who is accompanied by the very transfer student she was spying on. Her savior is Oga Mazuya, a magician who claims to be the most powerful magic user in the world and whose goal is to destroy all cursed imitations known as Magaimono. Thinking she will get to encounter all sorts of new mysterious things if she tags along, Yuki volunteers to help him, meddling in occult matters and extradimensional affairs. Although she survives her initial encounter, she now faces a new threat: being abducted by a secret government organization.

As Yuki plunges deeper into this occult world guided by Oga, she discovers that Magaimono are hidden everywhere, including within herself. The narrative pits Oga and his companions against a nefarious group known as the Black Blades, who also wield the power of Magaimono. As the Black Blades close in, an ancient cursed power begins to rise from beneath the earth, threatening global domination. The manga follows this small group of magicians as they stand between mankind and an eldritch apocalypse, leading to a confrontation that reveals buried secrets and decides the fate of the world.

The story is a supernatural action series created by Kami Imai, known for the long-running manga Needless. It was serialized in Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd from September 2019 to October 2020 and is collected in two complete volumes.
