Description
Years after Sung Jinwoo, the Shadow Monarch, brought an end to the war with the Monarchs and saved humanity, the world exists in an uneasy peace. Suho is rescued and guided by Beru, the ant king shadow, who was sent by Jinwoo to protect his son. Depowered from crossing dimensions, Beru acts as a mentor and exposition fairy, helping Suho navigate the system and the new threats. Unlike his father, who started as the weakest E-rank hunter, Suho inherits tremendous latent power but initially hides his abilities behind an E-rank classification. He is a brawler who prefers to fight with his fists, contrasting with Jinwoo's use of daggers. As Suho levels up, he assembles a party of allies, including the descendants of the former Monarchs, such as Esil (a descendant of the Monarch of White Flames) and the lizardman Ammut. His goal shifts to reaching his father and joining the war against the Itarim.
