In a world where a human resources evaluation system known as Asset assigns a monetary value to every person, Makoto Ginjo is a rising star. He works at a prestigious foreign consulting firm, enjoys immense wealth, status, and romantic success, and carries a human price tag of eight hundred million yen. His life seems perfect until he encounters a mysterious young man named Hari, a slave said to be worth one hundred billion yen.

Hari appears before Ginjo and declares himself Ginjo's slave. That single encounter shatters Ginjo's orderly existence. Yu herself, regaining fragments of her identity, proposes returning to Hakuto to spare the others, forcing Ginjo to decide how far he will go to reclaim everything—his former life, his old friend, and his own sense of self.
