In the kingdom of Edeltarte, where martial prowess is prized above all else, Crown Prince Lloyd stands out as a prodigy of magic but is notably inept with a sword. His father, the king, who holds magic in contempt, grows frustrated with Lloyd's lack of martial ability and decides to remove him from the line of succession in favor of his younger brother. What follows is a farcical adventure driven by the whims of a genius mage who simply wants to live a life of idleness and indulgence but keeps getting pulled into absurd situations through his own reckless actions and the trouble that finds him.
