In the year AD 24XX, Earth has been conquered by the Dyna-Beings, creatures that are fusions of dinosaurs and humans. These beings have installed themselves at the top of the food chain, reducing humanity to little more than livestock bred for consumption. The remaining humans live in terror as prey.

From the distant planet Tinos, a young boy named Emelo arrives carrying a desperate plea for salvation. His call is answered by Blue, a being that is part machine and part human, and the Cross Battlers—a squad of operatives who have undergone special cybernetic surgery to become hybrid warriors. Under the leadership of Steeg, the architect of the Cross Battlers project, Blue and his team travel to Earth to confront the Dyna-Beings and reclaim the planet for humanity.

The story unfolds across three volumes. The first volume establishes the apocalyptic setting and introduces the central conflict as Blue and the Cross Battlers land on Earth and engage the Dyna-Beings for the first time.
