Description
"Mushibugyō" is set in an alternate version of Edo-period Japan, where giant insects known as "Mushi" threaten humanity. To combat this menace, the Tokugawa shogunate establishes the Insect Magistrate Office, a specialized force tasked with exterminating these creatures and protecting the populace. The story centers on Jinbei Tsukishima, a young and earnest swordsman who arrives in Edo to fulfill his father's dying wish: to serve as a Mushibugyō, one of the elite warriors tasked with defending the city.
