Kathleen Barr is a Canadian voice actress with a career spanning several decades, during which she has become a prominent figure in animation, particularly through her work with Ocean Productions in Vancouver. While her portfolio is extensive and covers a wide range of Western animated series, she has also contributed her voice to numerous English dubs of Japanese anime, especially during the 1990s and 2000s.

Her involvement in anime is notable for the range of characters she has portrayed. In the 1981 film Adieu Galaxy Express 999, she voiced the iconic character Maetel, as well as Queen Promethium and Tetsuro's mother, Kanae Hoshino, in the English dub produced by Viz Media.
