Peter Reinhardt is a German actor and voice actor, born on July 30, 1950, in Leipzig. He began his career after studying at the Theaterhochschule in Leipzig and has been active in the field of voice acting since 1973. Beyond his voice work, Reinhardt has also appeared as an on-screen actor in various German television productions, including the series Polizeiruf 110.

Reinhardt is highly regarded for his extensive voice work, having lent his voice to thousands of roles in films and television series. Within the anime and animation community, he is particularly well-known for his long-standing association with the character Goemon Ishikawa XIII from the Lupin III franchise. He has provided the German voice for the skilled samurai in numerous films, including Lupin III: Dragon of Doom, Lupin III: Farewell to Nostradamus, Lupin III: Voyage to Danger, and the 3D CGI film Lupin III THE FIRST. He also voiced the character in the crossover film Lupin III vs. Detective Conan The Movie.

His other notable anime voice roles include Diethard Ried in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Old Simon in Gurren Lagann, Professor Isaac Gilmore in 009 Re:Cyborg, and Yami Bakura in the later seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh!. He also voiced Karl Knute in Appleseed XIII, Herr Shinonome in the Rumiko Takahashi Anthology, and Yotsuya in the film Maison Ikkoku: Kanketsuhen.

While his anime work is significant, a large portion of Reinhardt's career is dedicated to dubbing live-action content. He is the official German voice for several prominent actors, including Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohen in The O.C.), Robert Patrick (John Doggett in The X-Files), and Jerry Doyle (Michael Garibaldi in Babylon 5). His other extensive dubbing work includes roles in popular series such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, 24, Desperate Housewives, and Orange Is the New Black.

A notable achievement in his career outside of performance was his role as a leading figure for the voice acting community. From its founding in April 2006 until June 2015, Peter Reinhardt served as the chairman of the Interessenverband Synchronschauspieler, a professional association for voice actors based in Berlin.
