Sergio Di Giulio was an Italian actor and voice actor, born in Milan on April 4, 1945. He began his artistic career in the theater, making his debut in 1968 in a production directed by Andrea Camilleri after studying at the Alessandro Fersen drama school. For three years, he was also part of the Stabile Theatre in Rome. His career in the performing arts spanned over five decades, from 1968 until his death on July 24, 2019.

While Di Giulio was active as a stage and film actor, he became best known for his extensive work in dubbing, contributing Italian voices for a vast array of characters in live-action films and television series. This included being the regular Italian voice for actors like Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi in many of their films. In the realm of animation, he was widely recognized as the voice of Timmy's father in the popular series The Fairly OddParents.

In the specific field of anime and animated series, Di Giulio lent his voice to a number of significant roles. As noted, he voiced the character Michael Suzuki in the Italian edition of the Lupin III television special Lupin III: Crisis in Tokyo. For the same special, he also served as the dubbing director for the version that aired on Italian television. Another of his notable anime roles was providing the voice for the character Cyclonus, also known as Snowcat, in the series Transformers: Energon.

His other voice work in anime and related genres was extensive and varied. He was the voice of the auctioneer, Ivalenkov, the butler, and Tonpa in the 1999 version of Hunter X Hunter. He voiced the character Reciuse in Last Exile, Pedro Belenbauza in Michiko & Hatchin, and Arimoto Yamagata in the Rurouni Kenshin motion picture. He also took on the role of Dark Oak, also known as Lucas, in Sonic X and played Abraham Gray in an adaptation of Treasure Island. His credits also include voicing an older Monitamon in Digimon Fusion, Com Zigra in a 2006 redubbing of UFO Robo Grendizer, and the father of Ryunosuke in the later episodes of the classic series Urusei Yatsura. Beyond voice acting, his work as a dubbing director on projects like the anime series Transformers: Armada highlights his broader contribution to bringing animated content to Italian audiences.
