Tedesco had an extensive and prolific career as a voice actor, contributing to the Italian dubbing of numerous international productions. His voice became well-known to Italian audiences for his work on American animated films and series, including lending his voice to characters like Kaa in The Jungle Book, Sir Hiss in Robin Hood, and Sam the Eagle from The Muppets. He also dubbed characters in live-action films and television series.

His work in the realm of anime was a significant part of his dubbing career. He provided Italian voices for a wide range of characters in many classic and popular series. Some of his notable roles included Rasputon in the special Lupin the 3rd: From Siberia with Love, Pero in the film Nagagutsu Sanjūshi (Puss 'n Boots), and he took on the role of the villain King Vega in a 2006 redub of the series UFO Robo Grendizer. Throughout his long career, Tedesco was known for his versatility and the expressive range of his voice. He himself noted that voice acting in animation allowed an actor to give free rein to their imagination. A notable achievement was his work on The Jungle Book, where his distinctive performance as Kaa, featuring a sibilant "s" that was not in the original version, was specially commended by Walt Disney Productions.
