Sean Barrett is an English actor and voice actor born on 4 May 1940 in Hampstead, London. His career in performance began in the early 1950s as a child actor, with appearances in BBC children's television and films such as War and Peace. He continued working in television and film for several decades before transitioning more prominently to voice acting in the early 1980s.

Barrett became a prolific voice artist, particularly recognized for his work in dubbing English versions of Japanese anime productions, frequently for Manga Entertainment in the United Kingdom. Among his most notable roles is Inspector Koichi Zenigata in the Lupin the 3rd franchise, a character he voiced in the English dubs of the films The Mystery of Mamo and Bye Bye, Lady Liberty. He also provided voices for several other key anime projects from the late 1980s and early 1990s. These include the roles of Lieutenant Britain in both Dominion Tank Police and New Dominion Tank Police, Gabimaru "Gogul" Rikiya in Cyber City Oedo 808, Dante in Violence Jack 3, Mad Saurus in Violence Jack 2, Enrico in Mad Bull 34, and Faust Münchhausen II in Urotsukidōji III: Return of the Overfiend Director's Edition. Additionally, he voiced the characters Belgel and the Narrator in the film Odin: Starlight Mutiny.

Beyond anime, Barrett's extensive voice work encompasses live-action dubbing, narration, and video games. He narrated the BBC series Timewatch and provided voices for puppet series such as Star Fleet, where he played Captain Orion.
