Satomi Amano is a Japanese voice actress from Kanagawa Prefecture, born on November 29. She is affiliated with the talent agency VIMS and has been active in the industry since her debut in 2018.

Before pursuing voice acting, Amano had intended to become a pharmacist due to her background in science. Encouraged by a high school teacher to follow her childhood dream, she changed her career path and enrolled in the Japan Narration Actor Institute. She chose to aim for VIMS, inspired by her admiration for fellow voice actress Nozomi Yamamoto, who is also affiliated with the agency.

Amano's first major recognition came early in her career with her role as Hotaru Shiragiku in the popular multimedia franchise The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. This marked a significant starting point, leading to further opportunities in anime and video games. In 2020, she voiced Tamaki Yamazaki in the baseball series Tamayomi and Misana Farrengram in Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear. The following year, her roles included Rena Kitayama in World's End Harem and Shiori Nakagawa in Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure. In 2022, she portrayed Yutori Kokorogi in the suspense anime Tomodachi Game and Wolf Bate in Miss Kuroitsu From the Monster Development Department. Her filmography also includes the role of Tsubame Kawano in the High School Fleet film.

Beyond anime, Amano has lent her voice to numerous video games, including the role of Scene in Arknights and Patricia Birdway in A Certain Magical Index: Imaginary Fest. She has also expanded her activities into other media, hosting radio and internet shows such as Satomi Amano's ToroToro Kingdom. In 2023, she joined the voice actor unit Ciel, which was launched by Marine Entertainment.
