Kurumi Takase

Description
Kurumi Takase is a Japanese voice actress, singer, and idol who was born on March 16, 1999, in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Her career in the entertainment industry began at a young age, with early experience in a local musical theater group from elementary school through her first year of high school. Prior to her voice acting debut, she was active as a local idol in Tochigi with the group Tochiotome25 from 2010 to 2014. In 2015, she joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei, the training program for Hello Project, and in 2018, she was selected as a member of the newly formed J-pop group BEYOOOOONDS, where she serves as the leader of its sub-unit, Ame no Mori Kawa Umi.

Takase made her debut as an anime voice actor in 2021 with the role of Mona Fujishiro in the mixed-media project PuraOre! Pride of Orange. This anime, which centers on a girls' ice hockey team, was particularly notable as it is set in Nikko city, which is also located in her home prefecture of Tochigi. The following year, she was cast as Aoba Karabayashi in another mixed-media project, Shine Post. In this series, Aoba is portrayed as the older of the Karabayashi sisters and a composed member of the in-story rival idol group HY:RAIN. As of the available information, these are her two primary voice roles in anime.

Beyond these specific roles, information on recurring collaborations with specific directors or a broader filmography in voice acting is limited. Her career is notably intertwined with her activities as a member of BEYOOOOONDS, and her achievements include being appointed as a tourism ambassador for Utsunomiya city in Tochigi Prefecture from 2020 to 2021.
