Coolkyoushinja is a Japanese manga artist and original creator known for a wide range of works, many of which have been adapted into popular anime series. The creator, whose name in Japanese is クール教信者, is reported to have been born on June 23 in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture. Coolkyoushinja began publishing works in the late 2000s, with early activity on platforms like the now-defunct web manga community Shin Seisha, before gaining wider commercial success.

The creator is responsible for several notable original manga series. One of the earliest to receive an anime adaptation was I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying, a four-panel comedy that began publication in 2011; its first anime season aired in 2014, followed by a second season in 2015. Another early work, Komori-san Can't Decline, started in 2012 and was adapted into a short-form anime series in 2015.

Coolkyoushinja is most widely recognized as the creator of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, a fantasy comedy series that began in May 2013. The manga has spawned multiple spin-off series and had over 1.2 million copies in print as of February 2018. The original manga was first adapted into an anime television series by Kyoto Animation in 2017, with a second season, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S, airing in 2021. The creator was also involved with The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace, serving as the illustrator for the manga adaptation of a story by original writer Amahara, which also received an anime adaptation in July 2021.
