Simon Derksen is a German voice actor and actor born in 1983 in Essen, Germany. He pursued formal training in performance, completing a degree in acting at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern, Switzerland, a program he attended from 2006 to 2011. Following his studies, he established himself in Berlin, where he has been active in the voice acting industry since approximately 2012.

Derksen's career is primarily defined by his extensive work in dubbing, providing German voices for a wide array of characters in international films and television series. While his dubbing portfolio includes live-action projects—such as his role as the voice of Jake McLaughlin's character, Ryan Booth, in the series Quantico, and Blair Redford as John Proudstar in The Gifted —he has become particularly prominent in the realm of anime. He is frequently credited with voicing characters in German-dubbed versions of popular Japanese animated series.

Among his notable anime roles is Larue in the feature film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, where he lends his voice to one of the lieutenants in Suguru Geto's group of curse users. Another significant role is Williams in the 2017 anime film Genocidal Organ, an adaptation of the novel by Project Itoh. Derksen has also taken on leading roles in long-running anime series. He is the German voice of Asahi Azumane, a key member of the Karasuno High volleyball team, in the sports anime Haikyu!!, a role he has performed from the series through to the 2024 film Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle. His other anime credits include voicing Diablo in How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, providing additional voices for multiple characters in Overlord III, and voicing Youm Farmenas in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and its spin-off, The Slime Diaries.

A recurring pattern in Derksen's work is his frequent dubbing of the Japanese voice actor Yoshimasa Hosoya. This includes his portrayal of Youm Farmenas in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime franchise and, most notably, his long-standing role as Asahi Azumane in Haikyu!!, which was originally voiced by Hosoya in Japanese.
