Larue emerges initially as a supporting figure allied with antagonist forces, later shifting his allegiance. He served as a commander under Suguru Geto, displaying loyalty to Geto's leadership while expressing less commitment to the genocidal elements of Geto's objectives. Larue primarily desired to witness Geto ascend as a king figure, viewing their group as a familial unit. After Geto's death, Larue distanced himself from other curse users debating whether to follow the imposter possessing Geto's body (Kenjaku). He intervened to halt internal conflict, advocating for unity and proposing they part ways until reuniting later.
Physically, Larue cuts an imposing figure—towering and muscular, with light eyes and mid-length blonde hair usually secured by a blue headband. Distinctive heart markings adorn his pectoral muscles. His attire consistently consists only of loose pants; he remains perpetually shirtless and barefoot. During the Cursed Child Arc, Larue participated in Geto's infiltration of Jujutsu High and attended subsequent strategy sessions.
Larue eventually allied with Yuki Tsukumo. In the Shibuya Incident Arc, he rescued Aoi Todo, Mai Zen'in, and Kasumi Miwa while Yuki confronted Kenjaku. His involvement escalated dramatically during the Shinjuku Showdown against Ryomen Sukuna. Larue and Miguel entered the battle after negotiations; Miguel agreed to fight only once Sukuna's domain expansion was unusable and both Satoru Gojo and Yuta Okkotsu were defeated. In combat, Larue saved Atsuya Kusakabe from Sukuna, employing his cursed technique Heart Catch (ハートキャッチ, Hāto Kyatchi), manifesting spectral hands to compress his target. Sukuna countered with a Black Flash that inflicted severe injuries. Despite Miguel's suggestion to withdraw, Larue activated his secondary technique Cutie Honey (キューティーハニー, Kyūtī Hanī). This ability forced Sukuna's intense focus onto Larue, creating an opening for Yuji Itadori to land a critical Black Flash. Larue survived Sukuna's subsequent incomplete Malevolent Shrine domain expansion and was evacuated alongside Miguel, demonstrating notable durability against direct attacks from Sukuna. Larue ranked 113th in the third Jujutsu Kaisen Popularity Poll and 66th in the fourth poll.
