Laurent Blanpain is a French actor specializing in dubbing, born in Paris. He initially earned a degree in business before turning to theatre, training for three years at the École d'Art Dramatique Jean Périmony. His training included instruction from prominent figures such as Sylvia Roux and Christian Bujeau, as well as studies in musical theatre and Shakespeare at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He later completed specific training in dubbing at Studio Capitale.

Blanpain has become a prolific voice actor in French dubbing, particularly known for his work in anime. He is the regular French voice of Batman in the animated series Batman: The Masked Vigilante. Among his most prominent anime roles are Thorkell in Vinland Saga, Diavolo in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, and Eisen in Frieren. He also voices Akitaru Ōbi in Fire Force, Zenberu Gugu in Overlord III, Inasa Yoarashi in My Hero Academia, and Sōmei Saitō in Food Wars! The Third Plate. His film work includes the role of Larue in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Other significant credits include Titus in Thermae Romae Novae, Kei Ru in Noblesse, Ginga Onimaru in TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You ~High School Days~, and Kazuhito Narita across multiple installments of Haikyū!!.

In addition to animation, Blanpain is active in dubbing for live-action series and video games. Notably, he voices the character John "Soap" MacTavish in the French version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and its sequel. He also provided the voice for the protagonist Red Mac Raith in the game Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
