Rika Nagae is a Japanese voice actress from Saitama Prefecture, born on September 28 and affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. She began her voice acting career in 2015 after a period of training. Her path to the profession was inspired by a childhood love of Disney works and music; she started learning piano at age five and was a vocalist and guitarist in a band during high school.

Nagae's first main role in an anime series came in 2017 when she was cast as Baselard in Frame Arts Girl. She has since taken on a variety of notable characters. These include the foreign exchange student Olivia in the comedy Asobi Asobase in 2018, and the energetic younger sister Hinata Hoshino in Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me in 2019. In 2023, she voiced the protagonist Mitsuha Yamano, a high school girl with the power to travel between worlds, in Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement. Her other roles include Hanako Yamada in Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu, Kanna in Mazica Party, Gecchama Eagle in Robot Girls NEO, and Yaiba Shirogane in the TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You ~High School Days~ series. She also plays Raido's little sister in Aharen-san wa Hakarenai and has been involved in the Sylvanian Families: Flare no Happy Diary project, voicing multiple characters including Ambrose, Breeze, Cave, and Kate. In video games, she is known for voicing Hayate Hisakawa in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage and Fio in NieR Reincarnation.

A recurring aspect of Nagae's career is her participation in music performances related to her anime roles. For Frame Arms Girl, she was among the cast members who performed the ending theme song "Fullscratch Love". She also performed the opening and ending themes for Asobi Asobase with her fellow cast members. Similarly, for Wataten!, she was part of the unit Wataten Five, which performed the series' opening and ending themes. Nagae continues to be active in the industry, with roles announced for upcoming series such as Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family!.
