Helen Blaschke

Description
Helen Malin Blaschke is a German voice actress known for her work in dubbing, particularly in providing the German voices for characters in anime series and films. Based in Berlin, she began her career in voice acting as a child, with her first experience in a dubbing studio being a voice-over for the program WOW die Entdeckerzone. She was born in 1998 and has been active in synchronization work since 2007.

Blaschke has built a substantial portfolio, with over one hundred credited voice roles to her name. Her voice is characterized by a young and bright timbre, suitable for a range of characters from children to young adults. While her work spans various genres, she has become a recognizable voice for German audiences of anime.

One of her notable anime roles is E.M. Pino in the series Edens Zero. The German dubbed version was produced by TV+Synchron GmbH in Berlin, where Blaschke was cast to voice the small but significant robot character. Another prominent role is Juri Hoshino, the older sister of the main female protagonist, in the Netflix film Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop.

Blaschke is particularly well-known for her long-standing association with the Higurashi: When They Cry franchise. She has voiced the character Satoko Houjou across multiple installments of the series, including Higurashi: When They Cry - Rei and Higurashi: When They Cry - Kai, establishing her as the German voice for the character in these earlier arcs. She continued in this role for the later series, Higurashi: When They Cry - Gou, where she is credited as the first voice for Satoko Houjou in the initial episodes. This recurring role demonstrates her ability to maintain character consistency across different entries in a long-running franchise.

Beyond these key parts, her extensive anime dubbing credits include the role of Silica (Keiko Ayano) in the Sword Art Online film series and progressive movies, Tsubaki in The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie, and Chika Amabe in the film Suzume. She has also provided voices for series such as Oshi no Ko (as Ruby Hoshino), Shangri-La Frontier (as the narrator), and Komi Can't Communicate (as Akako Onigashima). Her work is not limited to anime; she also dubs roles in live-action series and films for a wide audience.
