Ami Tōma is a Japanese actress who began her career after being scouted in Okinawa in 2020 at the age of 14. She made her debut in a corporate commercial for Recruit in July 2021. While her primary work has been in live-action television dramas and films, she has gained recognition for her leading roles in anime films.

Tōma made her voice acting debut as the protagonist Kokoro Anzai in the 2022 animated film Lonely Castle in the Mirror. She was cast in the role after a successful audition. She is next set to voice the lead character Fujiko Tsuguta in the upcoming original animated film Paris ni Saku Étoile, scheduled for release in March 2026. This film, directed by Gorō Taniguchi, follows two Japanese girls pursuing their dreams in early 20th century Paris.

Beyond these two prominent anime roles, Tōma's career is marked by a rapid rise in the entertainment industry. Her live-action credits include her film debut in 2022 and her first lead role in a television drama in 2024. In 2025, she received the Newcomer Award at the 48th Japan Academy Film Prize for her performances in several films, including Lonely Castle in the Mirror.
