Description
Wicki Kalaitzi is a Greek-German actress and voice artist born in Leipzig in 1974. She trained as a ballet dancer at the Ballettakademie Hans Vogl in Berlin before becoming a founding member of the renowned Teatr Kreatur ensemble in Berlin at the age of 18. Her early career was rooted in theater, including a fixed engagement at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden and guest performances at numerous prestigious venues across Germany and Europe, such as the Volksbühne Berlin, Hamburger Kammerspiele, and the Theatre National du Luxembourg. Her theater work has been recognized with accolades including the Friedrich-Luft-Preis and invitations to the Berliner Theatertreffen.
Kalaitzi transitioned to voice acting, encouraged by colleague Thomas Vogt, and has since built an extensive career as a speaker for documentaries, audiobooks, advertising, and e-learning, in addition to her synchronization work. Her first major voice role became one of her most iconic: she voiced the fairy Stella in the animated series Winx Club, a role she performed consistently from 2004 to 2019. This long-running part established her as a familiar voice in German animation dubbing.

In the world of Western animation and live-action dubbing, she has lent her voice to numerous characters. She dubbed Francie Jarvis in Gilmore Girls, Fly Watson in Blue Water High, CeCe Drake in Pretty Little Liars, and Rosita Espinosa in The Walking Dead. She has also provided the German voice for actresses such as Oona Chaplin, Dominique McElligott, and Sandrine Kiberlain.
In addition to her voice work, Kalaitzi continues to act on screen and on stage. Her film and television appearances include roles in series such as Die Rosenheim-Cops and Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten, as well as the film Väter. She is a member of the Bundesverband Schauspiel and the InteressenVerband Synchronschauspieler.
