Chihiro Kusaka is a Japanese voice actress born on December 9, 1978, in Iwate Prefecture. She is 173cm tall and affiliated with the talent management firm Production BAOBAB. Kusaka is a graduate of the Amusement Media Academy's voice actor department, completing her studies there in 1999. Early in her career, she worked under the stage name Shizuka Sasaki.
Kusaka's debut in anime was in the year 2000, providing a voice for the series The Celestial Legend Ceres under her former name, Shizuka Sasaki. She began building her filmography in the early 2000s with a variety of roles. In 2002, she voiced the character Tobuto Okazaki in the television anime Aterui.
