Ditte Schupp is a German voice actor, actress, and musician, recognized for her extensive work in dubbing foreign-language films and television series, particularly anime, into German. Born in Wiesbaden on March 2, 1966, she was raised in a theatrical environment as the daughter of a stage designer, an actor, and a director, spending her childhood at the Fränkisches Theater Schloss Maßbach in Lower Franconia. She later trained at the Neue Münchner Schauspielschule in Munich, where she is now based, and has gained experience performing at various city theatres in Germany and with an international street theatre group.
Schupp is frequently cast to voice young boys and female characters in animated series. One of her notable roles in this regard is Max Taylor, one of the lead protagonists in the anime series Dinosaur King. Her voice work in the Pokémon franchise includes providing the German voice for the character Nathaniel, a young boy who aspires to be a Bug-type Pokémon Trainer, in the Pokémon anime series. She is also known as the second German voice for the character Richie in the same franchise.
Schupp has a long-standing association with the Sailor Moon series, having voiced multiple characters across different productions over several decades. In the 1990s, she lent her voice to roles in various seasons of the original anime, including the significant characters of Sailor Pluto in Sailor Moon R and Sailor Star Fighter in Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.
