Kazuaki Itō is a Japanese actor and voice actor born in Tokyo on October 15, 1950. He is a graduate of Waseda University's Faculty of Letters. He began his professional acting career in 1970, initially focusing on television dramas and stage productions. He has been a long-standing member of the theater company Gekidan Subaru, where he has performed in classic works including those by Shakespeare. By the 1990s, he had established a significant career in voice acting, particularly in dubbing foreign films and animation for Japanese audiences.

In anime, Itō is known for voicing a range of characters, often portraying authority figures, elders, and mentors. He voices the character Mou Gou, a veteran Great General, in the anime series Kingdom. Other notable anime roles include Hiashi Hyuga in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, Zenzou Sato in several seasons of Major, and roles such as a police inspector in various entries of the Case Closed franchise and an instructor in the series Initial D. He has also contributed voices to series such as Full Metal Panic!, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and My Hero Academia.

His extensive work in voice dubbing has seen him provide the Japanese voice for actors like Scott Glenn, Tzi Ma, and Bill Nighy in numerous films and television series.
